Paul MacKoul, MD, graduated from medical school at Tufts University. Afterward, he completed his residency in OBGYN at the University of Maryland, and his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of North Carolina.  He was the former director and associate professor of GYN Oncology at two major institutions in Washington DC, the George Washington University Hospital, and Washington Hospital Center.  He was named a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Designated Surgeon in 2012 and has been named a Top Doctor multiple times by the Washingtonian Magazine as well as Northern Virginia Magazine.
